Terrie Haworth, LPC, Program Manager and Clinical Supervisor
Terrie is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked with youth and their families for more than seven years. Terrie received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health counseling from George Fox University and her bachelor’s in Family Communications from Portland State University. She has extensive training in family therapy and trauma theory, as well as a certification in Rhythmic Movement Training. Terrie feels inspired by her clients and their strength to overcome life’s obstacles, and feels privileged to be part of their journey. In her off time, she loves spending time with her family and playing with her cat Obie.
Michaela Judah, MA, LMFT, Child and Family Therapist
Michaela has been working with children and families since 2002. She was Supervisor and Family Advocate at Kidco Head Start for 12 years, and a Skills Trainer at Wake Robin Day Treatment in Salem for 1 year. Michaela got her BS in Human Development and Family Studies from Oregon State University in 2001. In 2017 she completed a master’s in Marriage, Couples and Family Therapy from George Fox University. Michaela believes that people are the experts in their own life stories and are doing the best they can. She aims to bring attention to people’s strengths, which can enable them to learn about themselves and have hope for their future. She engages in multiple therapeutic techniques to help people grow and heal, which manifests for them in a balanced life. When not at work, Michaela values time with her family and enjoys traveling.
Chris Beeton, MS, QMHP, Marriage and Family Therapist Associate
Chris is excited to provide Child and Family Therapy at Old Mill Center, as she aligns with our values and mission. She holds a master’s degree in Couples and Family Therapy from the University of Oregon and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Utah. Chris has experience working with children, adolescents, and families in clinical mental health, as a licensed teacher, and in community volunteer work. She takes a strengths-based, collaborative approach to therapy. She believes that every person and every family has unique strengths that provide the potential and ability to work through challenges, increase life satisfaction, and improve relationships. Chris enjoys time with family, board games, bicycling, and gardening.

Bob Daley, MA, MSW, Child & Family Therapist
Bob has worked in the social services with a variety of populations for nearly 20 years. He holds a master’s degree in social work from Boise State University, a master’s in teaching and a bachelor’s in the fine arts, both from Oregon State University. He has a passion for accompanying others through life’s challenges and a deep respect for the individual nature of each person’s healing and change processes. Bob’s therapeutic approach utilizes play, expressive, and cognitive behavioral therapies. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, playing and listening to music, taking care of his garden, chickens, cats, and fish, and spending time with his family.

Violet Herrick, BA, QMHA Student Intern
Violet is a Child and Family Therapist Student Intern currently completing her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Touro University Worldwide. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from George Fox University. Her previous experience with children and families includes teaching in after-school programs and working with teenagers in inpatient behavioral health facilities. Violet is committed to understanding the unique strengths of each individual. Her therapeutic approach is centered on creating a safe and trusting space where clients can openly express themselves. In her free time, Violet enjoys reading, painting, and getting out into nature.

Ali Layton, BA, QMHA, Student Intern
Ali has been a proponent of working with families within her community for many years and worked in early education for well over a decade. She is happy to be joining Old Mill Center as an intern while she is currently getting her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. Ali has a bachelor’s degree in Community Health Education and German. She takes a Solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) approach to counseling and seeks to collaboratively aid families along their journey to wellness. She believes creating a safe space to work through difficult experiences is paramount to the healing process. Ali enjoys her family, travel, baking and thrifting in her spare time.

Skills Trainers
Christina Marquardt, BS, QMHA
Christina received her BS in Psychology from Oregon State University in 2001. In college, she worked with developmentally disabled adults and was an active supporter of Special Olympics. Prior to becoming a Skills Trainer she worked in Old Mill Center’s Intensive Therapeutic Services classroom, as a substitute in the Preschool, and in the Relief Nursery as a one-on-one teacher. As a past client of Old Mill Center and a single parent of a daughter with behavioral challenges, Christina loves being able to work with children and families at Old Mill Center — it connects her to others with similar experiences and provides her with the opportunity to give back to her community.

Amber Fears, BS, QMHA
Amber is eager to be working at Old Mill Center as a QMHA. Amber recently graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Oregon State University. She is still attending Oregon State University and pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Amber believes that every person deserves a chance to discover their strengths and identity, as well as a chance to pursue what makes them feel passionate. By taking a client-centered approach and incorporating humanistic and cognitive behavioral techniques into her work, Amber hopes to empower children and families at Old Mill. During Amber’s free time you can find her hiking in the woods, playing games with friends, or snuggling with her cat.

Alex Moore, QMHA, Clinical Support Specialist
Alex graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Sciences. She has been working with children since high school and has previous mental health work experience in Old Mill Center’s Intensive Treatment Services day treatment program. Alex is excited for this opportunity to work with the Child and Family Counseling team and to continue supporting children and families. In her free time, Alex enjoys being outside, spending time with her cat, Luna, and playing sports like softball and volleyball.
